MTCS defeats USN in District Opener
MTCS stars prevail against Tiger's preparation.
Murfreesboro, TN- USN returned from their Thanksgiving break to open up district play against the projected number one team in the district. The Tigers prepared diligently for their contest, but fell short to the Cougars thanks to a pair of their returning sharp shooters. Not one to go down without a fight, USN guards, Uma Peters and Elisabeth Crane each contributed career high ten points of their own. The Tigers return to competition tomorrow night in a rematch against Antioch High School.
