JV Captures First Win, Varsity Continues to Improve
JV Wins! Varsity starts to click, but too little too late.
Nashville,TN- The Tigers opened the night with a bang as our junior varsity team recorded their first win of the season! Inspired by the performance of our JV team, our Varsity took the floor and battled hard against a team we fell to by 30 last year. At the end of the half USN trailed by just four points. The second and third quarters were a slug fest followed by fireworks in the fourth. The 4th quarter saw almost half of the total scoring in the game. Tessa Comsky and Uma Peters lead the way, knocking down shots from deep to keep the Tigers in it. USN made a valiant effort, and came up just short, falling by 7 points. The Tigers will return to competition Tuesday, November 28th in Murfreesboro, TN at Middle Tennessee Christian School.
