Tigers get first win of the season at Hume Fogg

Late game surge gives USN a 44 to 43 edge over Hume Fogg.
Their was excitement and energy on and off the court Friday afternoon at Hume Fogg. The Tigers showed a lot of resilience being able to secure a win after trailing the first twenty-four minutes of the game. It was obvious that the Tigers were determined to show improvement from Tuesday's lost to Antioch. You could see that pace and chemistry has been a point of emphasis for the young team.

Michael Watson Helped the Tigers get of to a good start scoring six of USN's nine first quarter points. Nathan Vogeli did a tremendous job anchoring the interior defense for the Tigers. Akil Radford scored twelve points in the second quarter and led all Tigers with fifteen points. Pera McMillian's perimeter defense was instrumental and Harry Stahl was able to energize everyone in the gym with a couple of assists. 

The next game is Tuesday afternoon against Davidson Academy in Sperling Gymnasium.
