Tigers lose home opener

Coach Anderson
The USN JV Boys Basketball team took the home court for their first game of the season during hall of fame week. Antioch High School was the opponent for the evening and the Tigers were excited to take the court. The bears took an early lead on the Tigers and never trailed throughout the game. The Tigers worked diligently to close the 12 point first quarter margin, but were unable to gain any significant ground until the fourth quarter. While the Tigers competed hard in front of friends and family, the Antioch Bears were able to execute with greater ease. The Tigers fell to 22-32 and showed great resilience and promise out scoring the Bears in the fourth quarter 10-6. The Tigers next matchup will be their first road game at Hume-Fogg magnet school on Friday, November 17th.
