With our eighth graders on the road, the rest of the squad took on Lipscomb.
With several players out of town on the eighth grade trip to DC, we had many players with the opportunity to play new positions. We played a strong Lipscomb Academy team who was physical, savvy, and skilled.
Our focus has been on our shape within the formation, getting the ball to the outside, and being aggressive with balls in the air.
We weren't able to find the back of the net, but we had several chances from Sydney Lasher '29 and Maya Arsovski '30 who were tenacious and excited about poking through the Mustang defense. Amelia Wilson '29 kept us organized from the center mid position and Tate Dawkins '30 held it down in goal!
The Mustangs were able to get a few lucky breaks and scored two goals on us and that was the final score: 2-0.
