Tigers Fall to Panthers in Three Sets

Doug Brown
The varsity Tigers came out on fire Wednesday at FRA, beating the Panthers 25-21 in the first set. The second set saw the Panthers come out just as hot, taking an early 0-8 lead. The Tigers fought back but the early deficient was too much to overcome. The Tigers also fell behind in the third set but mounted a spirited comeback to take the lead 11-10. After a few back and forth points, the Tigers fell 13-15. We had lots of chances to take control in the final set but just could finish the way we wanted. Sarah A. and Lindley D had their serves working today, keeping us close in that final set. The Tigers are 4-1 and in second place in our division of the HVAC. The Tigers take on Ensworth Monday with second place on the line, and a possible spot in the AA conference tournament. Go, Tigers!
