4/20 - City Finals

Tigers closed out the week of heavy competition with a ROAR! Junior Alima Kassim and senior Sidney aware placed 2nd in the 100m dash, and came back to WIN the 200m in impressive PRs times of 24.69 and 21.68 (continuing to lower his own school record!). Freshman Ryder Ortner clinched 4th in a fast PR 1600m of 4:27.55 a followed by a photo finish in the 800m to WIN in 2:01.31. Senior Olivia Jelsma finished 2nd in the 100H with a PR of 15.63 and another huge effort and PR in the 400m to lock in 3rd in 58.07. Sophomore Liv O’Hara also dropped another 15s off her 1600 to finish 5th in the 1600m with a time of 5:30.55. And to wrap up the meet, in the pouring rain, the girls 4x4 placed 3rd!
