USN drops to strong, physical Ensworth team
Eva Wuerth '23, Julia Spessard '23, and Annie Cox '24 each contributed to our scoring. Kate Vaughn '24 played a solid game in goal with 11 saves.
Ensworth is a tough and talented team. USN made them fight for every ground ball and work for every goal. Our grit and resilience was impressive! Our midfielders, Julia Spessard '23, Eva Wuerth '23, and Margaret McKay '25 played confidently with strength and poise.
Our defenders, Olivia Hess '24, Kat Pendergrass '23, Cate Laird '26, and Olivia Jacobs '23 improved on making contact on our slides, communicating in chaotic scenarios and getting the ball on the ground whenever possible.
We are SO proud of how these Tigers competed under the lights at Ensworth. Kudos, Tigers!
