Our upcoming winter basketball league serves as an opportunity for students in grades K-4 to develop and improve their basketball skills and knowledge. The league will run Saturday, January 14 through Saturday, February 11.

Location: Sperling & Cheek Gyms
Cost: $105
Director: PE Teacher & Coach Greg Anderson
Times:
Kindergarten: 9–9:55 a.m.
First Grade: 10–10:55 a.m.
Second Grade: 11–11:55 a.m.
Third Grade: 12–12:55 p.m.
Fourth Grade: 1–1:55 p.m.

Each grade will have a designated block of time on Saturdays for development and gameplay. The focus during gameplay will be basketball fundamentals such as shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense.

USN coaches and current High School basketball players will be the league's staff, coaches, and referees. High School students will have training prior to the league's start date and a senior advisor will be onsite to assist them throughout the duration of the league.

Students in kindergarten through third grade will be on all-gender teams with a maximum of seven players and will play a full-court, 3-on-3 format to allow for better development. In preparation for Middle School athletics, fourth grade will have boys and girls teams with a maximum of 12 players and will compete in a full-court, 5-on-5 format.

Registration is open now. Players must bring a water bottle.
