Back to District Play With a Win

USN hosted The Webb School as they returned to district play. First half presented a slow start to the game. A corner opportunity from Margaret McKay ‘25 led to Myla Woodley ‘23 passing the ball to Liv O’Hara ‘25. Liv O'Hara '25 scored to give the Tigers the 1-0 lead. Second half proved to be when the Tigers found their groove. Liv O’Hara ‘25 scored off an assist from Margaret McKay ‘25 to make it 2-0. Minutes later,  Liv O’Hara ‘25 sent a beautiful cross into the box that Caroline Quinones ‘24 finished into the net. All the while the defense worked to prevent shots from the Webb Feet. Zelle Jones ‘25 shot from outside the box to make it 4-0 for the TIgers. Annalise Rudolph ‘26 would make the final score 5-0 with a low angle shot drilled into the back of the net. Tessa Chomsky ‘25 earned her first district shutout for the 2022 soccer season!
