MS bands present year-end concert

Listen to recordings by sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.
By Kyle Barboza, Assistant Band Director

As a final project for Middle School bands, I had the students record a short piece at a specific tempo using their laptop or phone mic. They sent me their personal recordings, and I stacked them together in recording software, mixed, and mastered full band recordings from each of the three MS ensembles.

Use the links embedded in bold song titles below to hear “Frère Jacques” by the Sixth Grade Band, “Kum Bah Yah” by the Seventh Grade Band, and “Tallis Canon” by the Eighth Grade Band.
