USN Battles for the Win Against Poplar Grove
What an awesome game it was for this Tiger team last night in their victory over Poplar Grove! These 2 teams traded baskets all through the 1st half, with USN down by 2 points at the half. Things started heating up with the remarkable defense of Eva Baler, Tessa Chomsky, & Tate Barbeiri on Poplar's best player, along with the awesome rebounding by Maddie Ewing and Josie Whelan. The Tiger offense was on fire with several Tigers putting up points throughout the game (High scorers were Kate Vaughn & Josie Whelan-8pts each) USN was up 27-21 at the end of the 3rd and ended up cruising past Poplar Grove for the win! Congrats!
