Awesome Win!

Katie Roth
The Tigers claimed their first win of the season in a tight contest with Overbrook! The first set was a 25-23 nail biter and the second set was a nice 25-15!
The Tigers earned their first win of the season! While each game previously was close and showed a lot of heart and improvement, it was nice to have their hard work pay off and earn that W! In the first set it was a collective effort with everyone getting at least one ace! The Tigers also had four possessions where they were successful with three touch volleyball! Despite the self inflicted errors from the Tigers, they remained committed to their strategies and focused on the details, which ultimately gave them the first set 25-23!

In the second set Adelaide Dervan '32 had an amazing serving run and dominated with seven aces! Combine that with the other Tigers' aces and two kills from Emily Nicholson '32 the Tigers had a quicker set win, 25-15!

It's been amazing seeing this team grow game to game. Their game play is better, their decision making is better, and their support for each other and love of the game makes them so fun to watch! Great job Tigers! Come see their next home game and be loud and proud of their hard work and effort!
