The Tigers Move To 4-4 in District Play!

The Tigers roared to victory in an exciting sweep over Ezell Harding Christian School, evening up their district record at 4-4! From the first serve to the final point, the team brought energy, focus, and determination. After pulling away late to win the opening set 25-22, the Tigers found their groove and never looked back—cruising through the second set 25-16 before finishing strong with a commanding 25-10 victory in the third. It was a true team effort with standout numbers across the board. The Tigers racked up 11 aces from the service line, hammered down 33 kills to keep Ezell on their heels, and Mia dished out 32 assists to spread the offense around. On defense, the back row came up big with 43 digs, while the front row protected the net with 4 key blocks to shut down scoring chances. The Tigers will celebrate their seniors, Addi, Claire, Iris and Maeve, at tomorrow's home match vs. The Webb School (Bell Buckle). Come cheer on these seniors as they play their final home volleyball match as an USN Tiger!

Tennis players Carter Kojetin '29 finished as a state quarterfinalist, Sophie Oliver '26 and Mary Kate Adler '28 finished as state semifinalists, and Veer Kodali '29 and Max Parker '29 finished as state champions. Meanwhile, eight runners competed at the state track and field meet in Knoxville, where Griffin Davidson '27, Caleb Freifeld '28, Drew Zwerner '28, and Jack Fruin '27, sprinted to first in the 4x800m relay and Jack also placed first in the 800m dash.

    Middle School Quiz Bowl competes at national championship

    The Middle School Quiz Bowl finished off another successful season with a trip to the Middle School National Championship Tournament in Chicago. The team fought hard and ended the season as a top-100 program in the country, finishing 75th overall. Congratulations to the team on a great performance and to Lucas Lupu ’31, named an All Star for being the fifth-highest scorer nationwide.
