New faces join USN Athletic Staff

Join us in welcoming Athletic Coordinator Emily Gartz and Athletic Trainer Ethan Perry to USN.
By Ian Dinkins, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications

Emily Gartz comes to USN as an Athletics Coordinator after spending the last few years at Serendipity as a Buyer & Hiring Manager. Gartz previously worked with the Nashville Predators, where she was an Event Specialist. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Gartz graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Sport Administration. In her free time, she said she loves watching women's sports, trying new restaurants in East Nashville, and training to be a yoga teacher.

Gartz said she is looking forward to helping USN’s student-athletes reach their potential.

“As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the value of education & power in knowledge, and hope to guide more students like me,” said Gartz.

Ethan Perry joins USN as our Athletic Trainer. Before coming to USN, Perry attended college at the University of Tennessee for his undergraduate degree and earned his graduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Perry worked as a trainer at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, prior to joining USN. Outside of school, you can find Perry playing volleyball with friends and cheering on his favorite teams: the Tennessee Vols, the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, and the Memphis Grizzlies.
