Stop the presses! MS presents 'Newsies JR.'

Middle Schoolers bring the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike to stage during the first week of school. Tickets sale will open to the USN community on Friday, August 8 and be shared through the division publications.

Get ready — "the world will know" when the talented Middle School students of University School of Nashville take the stage in "Newsies JR.," inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike. Join us as these talented performers rise up and "carry the banner" of justice, courage, and unity. It's a call to action, a fight for what's right, and a celebration of the next generation of change-makers. Don’t miss your chance to see the stars of tomorrow shine today — "there’s change coming, once and for all!"

Showtimes are:
  • Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, August 15 at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
