Hassenfeld Library celebrates National Poetry Month

To celebrate National Poetry Month, Hassenfeld Library is using K-12 voices to showcase a wide range of poetry at USN. Come by the library to celebrate USN's creativity through the art of poetry.
By Sydney Shansey, Library Assistant

To celebrate National Poetry Month this April, Hassenfeld Library is using K-12 voices to showcase a wide range of poetry. Just outside the library doors, you will find a bulletin board covered in poems submitted by K-12 students, faculty, and staff. These poems are written onto paper leaves that come together to create our very own “poet-tree.” The leaves altogether showcase multiple languages, styles, and writers (some are even originals from our own USN community). Stop by to appreciate everyone’s writing and celebrate the art of poetry!
