In the battle of the Tigers, USN prevails
The seventh and eighth grade teams have had only a couple games since coming off of winter break, but are showing improvement with each competition.
Solid guard play from Kendall Burgess and Lia Payne helped USN defeat the strong and talented Ensworth team in our Cheek Gym last Thursday. Maggie Goodson and Neha Saggi were especially helpful on the boards and finished their lay-ups in the second half to go on a big offensive run. Coach Jules was especially proud of their discipline in the full court press which led to forced turnovers and easy baskets. USN topped the Ensworth Tigers 27-20.
