Hard Loss for the Tigers

The Tigers traveled to Zion Christian Academy on Tuesday. Competing against last year's regular season champions, the Tigers knew they would have to bring their A game. The match consist of 4 sets with the losses ended only a few points shy each time (21-25, 25-14, 23-25, 19-25). With this season's high of missed served from the Tigers, Zion capitalized on the mistakes and took home the win.  Other than the serving, the Tigers played on of their best matches this year! The Tigers ended with a total of 27 kills. Lindsay Hardy led with 12 kills and Bailey Hudson followed next with 6 kills. Annie Weimerskirch finished the match with 24 assists. Jade Williams led the team with 22 digs followed closely by Kiana Jansen with 17 digs. This match was an eye opener for the Tigers. They are showing themselves that they are improving and becoming more competitive in the district! The Tiger will compete next on Thursday, September 11th at Davidson Academy.
