Headed in the right direction!

The Tigers faced the DCA Wildcats on Wednesday afternoon. The match went to a four game set ending with a win for DCA (8-25, 25-23, 16-25, and 19-25). After a slow start to the match, USN came ready to play in the second set. Although the match didn't end as we would have hoped, the Tigers worked together as a team and showed improvement in their hustle and communication. Annie Weimerskirch ended the match with 3 blocks! Jade Williams held the defense strong in the backrow receiving over 50% of all serves. She also finished the match with 18 digs. Although quite on the stat board, Lucy Kloeppel played a very sound game and contributed to the team both front row and back row. The Tigers play again Thursday at FRA.
