Tigers open strong Pioneers en route to Semi's

Will Mantlo
The Tigers came ready to play Monday against a feisty team from Poplar Grove. The transition off was too much early on as Myles Hamilton and Isaac Eskind got the ball down the floor quickly and found open team mates. The Tigers did a good job defensively making it tough for the opponent to get good looks at the basket. They jumped out to a 27-11 lead at half and never looked back. By the end of the game everyone was able to get in the game. The team was lead by Myles Hamilton's 12 points while Alex Bahner had his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers advance to take on the number one seeded DCA tomorrow night.
