On October 30, USN hosted the second annual Callaween Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
The team picked up where they left off last year, finishing undefeated after a terrific day of Ultimate. In the first three games, USN defeated Independence HS, Blackman HS, and White Station HS. Though many of the veterans were absent for those games, the captains Ryan Del Casino and Will Shaw led the team to victory.
Outstanding plays were made by all, inluding veterans Mikeie Reiland, David Kuhn, Eliot Linton, Gray Yarbrough, Matt Hoffman, Mitchell Lutz, Andrew Bridgers, Alex Russell, and Grant Eidam. New players Grant Given, Rosario Falzone, and Zach Stern also made great contributions, displaying surprisingly good skills and understanding of the game given that this was their first time to play.
The team's final game against MBA was challenging as always, but after falling behind 4-2 early in the game, the team rebounded to defeat MBA 11-8. This preseason tournament was a huge success, and a good time was had by all.
