The boys were led by senior McLain Gore and junior Logan Jones, each of whom won two events.
Additionally, Jones and Akers-Campbell earned their way onto the USN all-time top 10 list with their 100 backstroke (#5) and 100 butterfly (#10) performances, respectively.
Other outstanding performers were freshman Ben Ghertner, who earned his first Region qualifying time in the 100 breaststroke, and juniors Will Johns and Will Knowles, who swam lifetime bests in the sprint freestyles, and junior Justin Maffett, who dropped 10 seconds off his previous 100 breaststroke and had two outstanding relay splits.
The girls were led by sophomores Caroline Graham and Ellen Jones and freshman Alison Zhong, each of whom captured one individual event and finished second in another. These three girls were also joined by freshmen Logan Sweet, Sarah Alberts, and Jaisal Merchant on our three relay teams, which won all three relays.
With this meet, the USN boys improve to 2-0 on the season, while the girls fall to 1-1; our combined team record is now 1-1.
