Tigers Lose Heartbreak Against Ensworth MS
The Tigers battled in a tough match against Ensworth Middle School on Tuesday but ultimately lost in the last inning 9-7. Fantastic defense from Henry Baxter and Luke Kleiner along with solid pitching from Harry Stahl kept the game close. Timely hitting and aggressive base running had the Tigers ahead 7-6 going into the last inning highlighted by a big time triple from Harry Stahl, a break out performance from Elie Shuster and top notch hitting and running from Eli Whelan. The Tigers were unable to hold the lead as Ensworth put up three runs in the last inning and another rally from the Tigers fell short. Many good things to build on going forward into the season.
