We capped off a successful night at the Plex fighting off a 2 goal deficit to tie 3-3 with our opponents. Our team never quit skating and our pesky offense took advantage of many opportunities. Cearly our team is demonstrating improved play every game. Kudo's all the way around for a fine TEAM effort to all our players!
Our netminder Jordin Palmeri did an exceptional job turning away 25 shots, and maintaining stability between the pipes. By the way, this was the first time we had more shots on goal than our opponents 25 to 24.
Our defense was buoyed with solid play by all 5 players, and in particular Sydney Russell, skating and contributing both ways, and our sniper Townes Haley netted a goal!
On offense, Isaac Rice and Charlie Ford combined to score a beautiful goal by Charlie by "deke"ing the goalie. Edward Crane played johnny on the spot and netted a great rebound. Drake Dixon, Platon Lazaranko and Will Bailey did a great job forechecking to keep the opponents at bay.
