Like night and day, this evening our team came to play and it was quite a contrast from our last game! A 4-3 loss with many positive takeaways, and most notably a "total team effort."
Our netminder, Jordin Palmeri held our opponents at bay with some nifty saves. Our defense played smart and physical with Sydney Russell, Isaac Rice, Townes Haley and Reid Murray. Will Bailey broke the ice with our first goal on an opportunistic breakaway. Townes Haley netted the second and Benton Laird posted the third goal, both from follow up rebound efforts!
Sydney quietly holds down the fort with a smart hockey sense and great stickwork on defense, and Drake covers the ice both ways!!!
