XC news - first week of training

Zaf
We had a great week on the mountain at Sewanee last week, and we completed a good week of training and bonding.

We wish to welcome our new Head Coach Skyler Moots, as he will join us this fall helping on the lower school faculty and serving as head coach for our MSXC team. I will stay involved as assistant with Coach Lynette Rives.

Skyler graduated from USN in 2007 and competed for Washington University in Saint Louis. He completed his BS in education at Wash U and his MS at Peabody in 2011. Skyler was All state in XC and a state champ in track 800m as a USN Tiger. Until recently he held school records in the 800m and 1600m events. Skyler has also served on our track and field coaching staff for the last 4 years!
