Karpinos a top finisher in aquathlon

Swim coach Justin Karpinos ranked first in his age group in the Aquathlon National Championship.
Swim coach and Dean of Student Life Justin Karpinos finished first in his age group and fifth overall in the USA Triathlon's Aquathlon National Championship on Saturday, Oct. 8. In less than a second over 57 minutes, he swam 1500m in the historic Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and ran 10K along California's coast. As a top finisher, Karpinos qualifies to attend the 2017 International Triathlon Union's Aquathlon World Championships next August in British Columbia, Canada. Kudos to our coach.
