The USN boys' Ultimate team defeated MBA by a score of 15-9 on March 26.
After falling behind 2-0 at the beginning of the game, the USN boys regained their focus and rallied to take the half 8-6. With strong defense and patient, smart offense, the boys extended their lead, finishing strong by scoring the last three points.
Though there were many outstanding plays and contributions by all players, the team is especially proud of senior Gray Yarbrough. Gray scored on a difficult catch to extend USN's lead in the second half and then earned the assist by throwing the scoring pass on the next point. Also of note were senior Mikeie Reiland's defensive "sky" takeaway as he out-jumped an MBA player to snatch the disc out of his grasp and freshmen Grant Given's score on a long pass to the end zone. The boys will be competing at Freaknik in Cumming, Georgia this weekend, and we look forward to more success.

In an inspiring new initiative, USN's health care career spotlight, organized by Ruchika Ramachandran ’27 and Yvonne Wang ’27, brought a wealth of alumni back to the school for an evening of shared expertise and personal stories. This first-of-its-kind event was a great example of the power of connection, mentorship, and community evident throughout the USN community.
