Tigers Rally For A Thrilling 5 Set Victory

The Tigers pulled off a dramatic comeback Thursday night, earning their first district win of the season in an unforgettable five-set battle against Nashville Christian School. The night didn’t start in the Tigers’ favor. Nashville Christian came out strong, taking the first two sets 25-22 and 25-18. Facing a 0-2 deficit and trailing late in the third set, the Tigers refused to back down. Showing grit and determination, they clawed back from a five-point hole to steal the set 26-24 and extend the match. Fueled by the momentum, the Tigers dominated the fourth set, controlling every aspect of play on their way to a commanding 25-13 win. With match tied, the Tigers didn't shy away, but kept their focus on finishing the job. In a tense fifth set, both teams battled point for point, but it was the Tigers’ composure and heart that made the difference. They closed out the match with a 15-12 victory, completing the comeback and sealing their first district win of the season.
