First match of the season!

Tigers won their first match of the season in a three set nail biter!
Tigers dropped the first set 11-25 against a very talented Grace Christian Academy! Their powerful and accurate serving caused some nerves and confusion early on, putting the Tigers on their heels. In the second set, the Tigers bounced back and fought for each point and kept the set close, until finally pulling away 25-20! Maintaining their excitement and composure, the Tigers fought through the mistakes and were able to overcome Grace Christian 15-11 due to some timely aces by Tessa Baler '32 and Samantha Shaba '32!

The Tigers finished their first win with 20 aces and 1 kill for their first game! While they need to focus on more consistent passing and three touch volleyball, this team showed off their heart and determination to compete and were ultimately rewarded for it! Come out and support this young Tiger's team as they figure out how to work together, push each other to be better, and figure out how to win through the details! Go Tigers!
