Lin Zheng '26 earns science awards

Congratulations to the junior who continues to be recognized for her research project on the effects of amphetamine, which earned accolades at the Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair.

Lin Zheng '26 took part in the Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair and excelled again. She presented her work titled, “Towards the Treatment of Neuropsychiatric Disorders: The Impact of Amphetamine on the Dopamine System in Relation to Ovarian Hormone Cycles." Lin outright won the Regeneron biomedical category, earned second place in the Medicine and Health category, and was one of four winners of the U.S. Air Force award for a science and engineering project. 
 
Lin also presented her research at the Tennessee Junior Science and Humanities Symposium in Knoxville in February, placed first in the poster competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defens, and advanced to the national competition in April in Virginia.
