Vanderbilt Arboretum Tour this Saturday
This tour of beautiful fall leaves is part of USN Evening Classes, a series of adult classes open to the Nashville community with proceeds benefiting the school's K-12 need-based scholarship endowment.
Why attend the Arboretum Tour at Vanderbilt on Saturday, November 8? Well, USN parent and Vanderbilt University Landscape Architect James Moore shared his thoughts with us.
“Vanderbilt’s Arboretum is at its best in the fall, and I’m excited to share the colors, history, and some of our newest projects on campus,” he said. “I’m happy to support need-based scholarships at University School of Nashville. We’ve loved this community for years, and it’s been invaluable to our own boys’ development.”
Moore oversees all landscape and arboretum projects and enhancements in support of the FutureVU guiding principles to respect Vanderbilt’s historic identity; make the campus more walkable, bikeable and sustainable; and preserve and expand the campus’ park-like setting.
