Tigers Battle To A Tie vs. JT Moore

The Tigers hosted JT Moore Middle School yesterday at the River Campus. The nail biter, gutsy effort by the Tigers ended in a 5-5 tie as the hour and 45 minute time limit ended the game. Eli Whelan lead the way by holding JTM to 2 runs through 4 innings before being replaced in the last inning. The Tigers went into the final 5th inning leading 4-2 but the heart of JTM’s lineup erupted for 3 runs leaving the Tigers down by one.  Henry Baxter lead off the final 5th inning with his second hit of the day by crushing a double to right field. Then down to our last out Luke Kleiner ripped a single and with his third RBI  tied the game that ended on the next at bat. Wow!! Go Tigers!
