Ella Steinhilber dominated the draw controls, leading to a solid Tiger win.
Of a possible 18 draw controls, Ella Steinhilber alone had nine. The team grabbed 13 total to give our attackers plenty of opportunities to score. A solid team win with seven different Tigers contributing to goal scoring. Mary Sophia Reich led the way with four goals and fellow senior, Marin Kirshner, had three. Ella Steinhilber had two goals and Olivia Dossett, Parker O'Hara, Elizabeth Saum, and Alli Jacobs each added one.
Emma Wuerth was a brick wall on defense, with only three goals allowed and four ground balls and one caused turnover. With our strong re-defend in the attacking third, Izzy Lutes was able to grab three interceptions from goalie clears.
It was a great team win over a region opponent. The Varsity Tigers have a break until they face Ensworth after Spring Break.
