Our entire coaching staff has a wealth of experience for track and field, and we share a passion for coaching young athletes! 
 
Skyler Moots - Wash U St.Louis/Vanderbilt - Head Coach MS / asst Co HS - A graduate of USN and former school record holder (400m, 800m and 1600) and current XC school record holder, Skyler completed his Masters matriculation at Vanderbilt in Education. He has served in a coaching capacity for about 5 years and this year he has also moved into the classroom at USN. Skyler enjoys mentoring young athletes in the middle distance and distance events!
 
Greg Anderson - Morehouse - Asst Co MS/HS - Greg serves in many capacities at USN, including head coaching MS Basketball and coaching track during the spring. Originally from Washington DC and Sidwell Friends School, Greg competed in college for Morehouse in Atlanta. A sprinter and jumper, Greg developed an appreciation for the technical points in training and working with youth. Greg will be heading up our summer camp program this year!
 
Steve Slovenski - Princeton - Asst Co HS - A recent addition to our USN staff, Steve is no stranger to track since his entire family has coached track in Maine for over 50 years. A Decathlete at Princeton, Steve develop an appreciation for all disciplines, although he has a personal affinity for the Pole Vault and High Jump. Steve teaches physics and he enjoys applying real world lab experiences to his classes. He will be working with the pole vault, sprint and hurdle groups.
 
Lynette Rives - Belmont - Asst Co MS/HS - Recently inducted into the Belmont Sports Hall of Fame, Coach Rives is a Tenn native having grown up in Clarksville Tenn. Track has been an important part of her life since her youth and she has been on our coaching staff for about 7 years. Lynette relishes any opportunity to share her knowledge and expertise in the sprints and relays. She was a member of the USATF National Championship 4x4 relay with USN alums K Curry and B Bamigboye in 2006.
 
Zaf Ahmed - APSU - Head Coach HS - I have been at USN for 26 years and have enjoyed teaching/coaching our youth immensely. During this time we have had over 40 state champions and 27 athletes competing in the NCAA. I ran track and cross country at Austin Peay and my favorite event was the mile!
