University School of Nashville fell 12-2 to Montgomery Bell Academy on Saturday despite out-hitting them seven to six. University School of Nashville captured the lead in the first inning. Will Greenfield drove in one when he singled in the first inning. Montgomery Bell Academy took the lead for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third there was an error, scoring two runs and #33 doubled off of Graham Elliot, driving in two runs. Montgomery Bell Academy scored seven runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Montgomery Bell Academy came thanks to a double by #26, a wild pitch , a groundout by #2, a walk by #13, a walk by #26, and a single by #1. #17 earned the win for Montgomery Bell Academy. He went three innings, surrendering two runs, four hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Elliot took the loss for University School of Nashville . He tossed five and a third innings, surrendering eight runs, five hits, and striking out four. Greenfield and Jackson Bryant each drove in one run to lead University School of Nashville .
