This week, parents and visitors have been greeted at the main entrance by Heather Davis and should continue to use Raptor when visiting campus during the day.
Heather Davis is our new receptionist in the 19 Avenue Lobby, the school’s main entrance. Originally from Walla Walla, Wash., Davis and her husband came South for him to earn his graduate degree at Vanderbilt University. She has held several positions, including receptionist, at Zander Insurance and is eager to work in a non-profit organization. Davis’ degree from Azusa Pacific University is in political science.
Former receptionist Piper Jones '08 left to pursue other interests, and we are lucky to have Davis join us. Please give her a warm welcome when you pass by her desk.
As a friendly reminder, USN uses Raptor as the visitor management system and it is located on the left side of the reception desk. Parents, vendors, and visitors on campus before 4 p.m. weekdays should check in and print off a name tag using Raptor. First-time visitors must use their drivers' licenses to be vetted through the security system.
Students in First Grade Teacher Kim Rosing’s class have spent the last few weeks writing creative stories and working with High Schoolers on binding their books, culminating in a trip to Parnassus Books to see their work on display.
The American Classical League recognized 36 University School of Nashville students for their scores on the National Latin Exam this year. Congratulations to Lucas Lupu ’31 and Zoey Wei ’31, who received perfect scores on the exam.
