After making it to the 2017 Tennessee State History Bowl and Bee semifinals, the Quiz Bowl team heads to a Vanderbilt tournament.
Four USN students attended the 2017 Tennessee State History Bowl and Bee in Westmoreland on Saturday, Feb. 4. The team, comprising senior Alex Morgan, junior Margaret Luffman, and sophomores Elliott Clark and Basil Egli, finished in the semifinals of a competitive field with teams from all parts of the state. Morgan finished first in the individual varsity Bee competition in a closely contested final. Clark finished third in the junior varsity Bee, while Egli placed in the top three on the U.S Geography Olympiad qualifying exam.

Congratulations to these USN students on their successes this past weekend. Up next for the team is the Quiz Bowl tournament at Vanderbilt University on Saturday, Feb. 11 and the state Quiz Bowl tournament at Cumberland University on Saturday, Feb. 25.
