B-team defeats Ensworth 3-0.

USN JV Girls beat Ensworth on Monday, 3-0.
The girls came out hard and got an early goal from Morgan Jacobs with the assist from Julia Spessard, who gave Ensworth a lot of trouble all game. Eva Wuerth and Harper Johnston put pressure on the Ensworth midfield and made it very difficult for them to get out of their defensive third. Many subs, including Mills Morgan Ratliff and Ngina McGruder, entered the game and did a great job of keeping the pressure and work rate high. The girls dominated the first half, but only had a one goal lead at halftime.

Ensworth had a few chances early in the second half, forcing goalkeeper Lydia West to make some great saves. Goals two and three, earned by Eva Wuerth and Julia Spessard, gave us a comfortable lead. Our back line worked hard all game to earn the shutout. Great overall effort by the entire team!
