Quizbusters on TV

by Doug Crane, Quiz Bowl team sponsor

USN's quizbowl team competed in the semifinals and finals of the televised Quizbusters tournament this past Saturday, March 12.
If you want to watch the final matches, our semifinal match will be aired at noon on Saturday, April 2 on the CW58 station (channel 18 on most cable networks), and the finals will be aired at the same time and place on Saturday, April 9

So I have obviously given away the result that we won our semifinal match and advanced to the finals--if you want to remain in suspense about which team won the final match, don't look too carefully at the check being held by USN's team members Youssef Doss, Alex Morgan, Aidan Rowan, and Jacob Snyder.

The team now heads to the state tournament at Cumberland University this Saturday, March 19.  Due to their successes this season, the team has again secured a spot in the national tournament held in Chicago June 2 and 3.
