Katie Reen: Why I Teach

I truly can't imagine a more rewarding profession than teaching. Every day I have the opportunity to witness--and be a part of--miracles.
Whether it's helping a struggling student finally "get" a concept, listening to bright, inquisitive, and eager minds debate a relevant topic, or watching a more reserved student find his voice, there is no shortage of magical experiences in a classroom.
I feel so blessed to have a front row seat to watch my students grow into amazing young men and women ready for the world. Teaching brings me great joy, ignites my passion to create a better tomorrow, and fills my heart with hope for the future. The kids at USN are incredible. I'm so lucky to be a part of their educational journey.
