This competition recognizes the vision, ingenuity, and talent of the nation’s youth, providing opportunities for creative teens to be celebrated. This year there were 1,934 total entries this from 40 regional schools--USN accounted for 145 single entries and 2 art portfolio entries.
Out of all entries, 5 works were awarded American Vision nominations. This award is equal to a “best of show” award. In addition 70 were awarded a Gold Key, and 123 were awarded a Silver Key. Gold Key works will be exhibited at Cheekwood and will travel to New York City for national judging against the best from other regions throughout the US. Results from the national judging will come later this spring.
