USN squeaks by Harpeth Hall

After a dominant first half, USN let Harpeth Hall back into the game in the fourth quarter.  Solid defense helped secure the win.
USN did everything right in the first half.  The press was unbreakable, the layups were going in, and we were taking care of the ball on offense.

Going into the fourth quarter, we had a healthy 9 point lead.  The Honey Bears came out in the last 6 minutes ready to compete!  They were causing turnovers and hitting jump shots!  Before we knew it, we were trailing 24-23 with less than 3 minutes to play.

We buckled down, took care of business, made some free throws and finished the game with a 27-24 win.  Kendall Burgess led the team with 13 points.  Lia Payne added 8 points, including some crucial free throws at the end of the game.

Jadyn Sheats and Caroline Christie-Mizell both played solid defense and helped us on both ends of the court.  Jadyn scored 4 points.
