Hop Mathews
He finished his lacrosse career at USN with 503 groundballs, 92 takeaways, 42 goals, and 32 assists. He was named Defensive MVP as a sophomore and MVP as a junior and senior. He received All-Region in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He was named All-State in 2013 and 2014 (no word yet on 2015). As a junior, he was the second USN lacrosse player to be named All-American.

He also played basketball for USN where he was named Defensive MVP as a junior and captain as a senior. While he spent the least amount of time with his third sport each year, his impact was great. The lacrosse season would typically finish in late April or early May and to the excitement of our soccer team two fields away, he would join the soccer roster. His impact was felt immediately on the team as he scored in his first game last year and again this year to help our soccer team. He will continue his lacrosse career with a walk-on opportunity at UNC - Chapel Hill.

Dylan Groos
A a member of our Cross Country team, he was a 4-time state team member, and 2-time All-State. In track, he was a member of the 4x4 and 4x8 city and region champ teams in back to back years. He was also a member of the 4x4 state champion relay. He was All-City, All-Region, and All-State in track as a junior and named All Mid-State track anchoring the 4x4 and earned Great 8 and Houston Invitational MVP honors as a junior. He was XC MVP as a junior and Track and Field Co-MVP as a senior.

While not alone in his efforts, he is our current school record holder in the 4X200, 4x400, 4x800, 800, and 1600 Meter Runs. His current time in the 800 ranks him in the top 15 nationally. He will be continuing his running career at Brown University.
