LOOKING FOR LEADERS: USNA Filling Committee Chair Positions for 2015-2016
by USNA President Holly Roche
We’ve barely gotten past New Year’s Day, but plans are well underway for USNA for the 2015-2016 school year!
We’re currently placing parents in committee chair positions and we want to know if you’re interested. If you’re not sure you’re ready to step in as a leader, then we’d love to talk to you about a job on one of USNA’s fundraising or service committees.
Pulling off a successful fundraiser requires lots of help at the committee level, so please let us know if you have an interest in helping with Artclectic, Bonus Bucks, Evening Classes, Fall Book Frenzy, Fall Fest or Music Night.
We can use help in all service areas, but several specific needs include Art Department Assistant Coordinators for all division levels, Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon Coordinators for May 2016, Parent Social Coordinators, MS Advisory Parent Coordinator and help with Tiger Arts Patrons and Tiger Club.
Don’t worry if you don’t feel ready to chair a committee or even participate as a committee member. You'll have plenty of opportunities in the coming months to sign up to help as a volunteer with any of our events and activities. USNA is all about being flexible, so we’ll take you on your terms and find a job for you!
If you’d like more information, please contact me, USNA President Holly Roche (293-0812), or USNA President Elect Katie Crumbo (429-1476).
