The Tigers faced Zion Christian in the consolation match of the district tournament. Fighting for third place and a chance to advance to Region play, the Tigers played their best match yet against Zion this year. Meeting for the third time this season, USN fought to try and take home the victory. Although the Tigers finished fourth, they did win one set of the match against a very strong volleyball program (15-25, 23-25, 25-22, 18-25).
Overall, the Tigers had a successful season. Winning 4 times more districts matches than last year. The Tiger also finished the season with 4 players on the All-District teams and 1 player making the All-Tournament team!
1st Team All-District: Annie Weimerskirch
2nd Team All-District: Jade Williams, Lindsay Hardy, Kiana Jansen
All-Tournament Team: Kiana Jansen
Congratulations to all the members of the 2014 volleyball team!
