USN Welcomes New Trustees to Board

This year five new people join USN's Board of Trustees, bringing a broad range of expertise and interests.
Del Bryant '66 recently retired after 42 years at BMI, the last eleven as CEO, and has moved back to Nashville. He was the 2014 PDS/USN Distinguished Alumnus. 

Xiu Cravens, Associate Dean for International Affairs at Peabody College of Education and Human Development, directs Vanderbilt’s U.S.-China Center for Education and Culture. Her daughter Lauryn is in the class of 2017 at USN.

Katie Crumbo is an energetic USN volunteer, co-chairing the Annual Fund and serving as the USNA step-up president. She has been a family nurse practitioner and HIV researcher for more than twenty years. Her son Fred is in the class of 2016.

Brad Gulmi '89 is the founder and CEO of Medical Direct Club, a provider of mail-order urological supplies recently named by Inc. Magazine one of the fastest growing companies in the country. His son Max is in the class of 2024.

Henry Hicks is the president and CEO of the National Museum of African American Music and a partner with Red Clay Capital Holdings, a private equity firm. He has two sons at USN: Henry, class of 2017, and Harrison, class of 2019.

Lisa Quigley commutes to Washington, D.C., where she works as top advisor and Chief of Staff to Congressman Jim Cooper. She has served for members of Congress for 27 years.  Her children are McKenna Harrington '16 and Griffin Harrington '19.

Also joining the Board this year are two ex-officio members: Alumni Board representative Jennifer Simmons McGugin '96, Associate General Counsel at Vanderbilt University, and Helen Tarleton, middle school counselor, the faculty representative.
