Saturday morning play started early! The girls faced DCA, Greenbrier HS, and JPII all before noon. The matches did not end in wins for the Tigers, but they played well against the tough opponents (DCA: 12-25, 15-25; Greenbrier: 19-25, 25-19, 11-15; JPII: 19-25, 17-25). As a result of the Saturday morning pool play, the Tigers finished 4th in their bracket. This required the Tigers to faced the 1st place team of another bracket, Beech High School (13-25, 14-25). Overall, the Tigers finished 7th out of 16 teams. It was a huge accomplishment to make it to the Gold Bracket. USN is continuing to improve each match! The future is looking bright for the Tigers!
