The varsity golf team headed out to Old Hickory CC to participate in the 2014 Davidson Academy Invitational. Many of our rivals were there, along with some of the larger public schools in the region, and I will say that although we did not break any scoring records, we managed to place mid pack - tied for second within our division. Nicky Farren led the team with an 85, followed by Skye Cameron 88, Jonathan Hudson 90, and Henry Rieniets 91. Emily Davis, our lone varsity girl, finished the day with an 88. Not bad for her first time out with the team this year. Well done Tiger's. Not only did they see where they stack up against division rivals, they also had a great look at a course which will host the TSSAA Regional Tournament later in September.
